Painting of Pedestrain Crossing in New Kingston
We will be participating in programme with Rotary International leading up to the Centennial Celebrations to be held in Illinois, USA, the home of Rotary in 2005. Some of these programmes will be contribution to the Rotary Foundation and polio eradication by 2005, a Centennial Poster competition, participation in the Ambassadorial Scholarship programme, a Centennial Club Project, participation in the programme geared towards District’s contribution to the Rotary Foundation.

Additionally the Club will continue to promote Rotary’s global quest aimed at increasing membership growth to 1.5 million members by 2005.

The Club will be undertaking a number of fellowship activities and service with our families, other clubs and the community as the best Rotary fellowship and service always comes from the heart.

Strengthen our Club with love

As we work to strengthen our club, let us do so with love. Like a child whose development we nurture, our Club must be improved livingly. We must think of ways to continue to increase the quality of our membership and encourage members to be active and involved. We must review our service to the community and determine its overall impact. We must consider ways to participate in the Rotary Foundation programmes more fully and increase our Club’s level of support. We must explore how our leaders can take a stronger and more positive role in guiding our Club to greater heights. Such a process can help to improve our Club but it will be most effective if everyone in the Club participates, especially those members who remain only marginally involved.

Come and share a rewarding experience…the world will be a better place.
