Share An Evening of
Excellent Music, featuring the finest in Contemporary, Jazz and
Classical selections by some of Jamaica's leading musicians. For the
2008 staging patrons will be treated to a high standard concert
featuring another top class line-up. The event is set for
Sunday, October 5, at the Sir Phillip Sherlock Centre, on the campus of
the University of the West Indies, Mona. Tickets going fast at $1000 per
person.
This year's team of performers is a star-studded cast
headed by the one and only Paulette Bellamy - music teacher, violinist,
pianist, composer, arranger and founder of the ensemble of
keyboard and strings - Touch of Elegance! She along with Michael Harris
- tenor; Ian Hird - saxophonist and master flutist and Jon Williams
with his unique classical / jazz and traditional music style - all made
for an evening of excellent music.
Proceeds from the function will go towards the
various charities on the club for this year
