Another Successful Health Fair For The Young

Over 70 grade one children at the Constant Spring All Age School in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew benefitted from a community health fair organized by the Rotary Club of New Kingston on Saturday, November 15.

Thanks to team of doctors, volunteers and New Kingston Club, the children were provided with free medical, hearing and vision checks, and where prescriptions were required, these were provided courtesy of the Club. This is the 12^th year that New Kingston Rotarians have been staging this event which is highly appreciated by the school, the children and members of the community.

A strong contingent of Rotarians was on hand to make sure the day went well. Thanks also to the Rotaractors for manning the registration desk.

In addition to the serious health business carried out during the session, a good time was had by all, and already, everyone is looking forward to next year, when another batch of children will get their opportunity for free medical check-ups courtesy of the Rotary Club of New Kingston.
